  • Lucky, he very much did it with the consent of congress Congress was very upset with Roosevelt. Because "war" was declared, he did these things under the auspices of a declared war and Congress didn't have the power to stop him (nor the political stomach) and they very much disliked it!

  • Lucky, I must correct you on one point. The fact that this president has taken powers unto himself that no previous president has, to further these crimes as well as conceal them makes impeachment that much more difficult.

  • Lucky, thank you. That was one of the most coherent documents on impeachment of Cheney that I have seen so far. Having said that, it is strong on accusations and weak on proof. Before impeachment process started against Clinton, they had proof hardcore of what he was being accused of.
